A short email from Sis;
We took the dog to the clinic today.
She had her blood test and an X-ray. The X-ray report showed her womb being infected.
The doc says normally the womb is very small and not suppose to show on the x-ray. Yet the X-ray shown her womb.
The report show signs of infection, and that it had been there for some time and her pallets (for clotting purposes) are very low around 80 and if it drop to 50 the doc would need to transfuse blood to CC during operation.
Her womb infection can be treated with medication, however the problem would be recurring (CC just taken medication last month for that).
It also show very bad arthritics at her hips but that can be due later. Only with operation can the problem in the womb be due with permanently. No complication need stay 2 days and cost 1.6k and costs would go up if there are complications.
Success rates are 80%. Today fees are $258 with anti-biotic.
Reply me soon cos they need one day in advance to check the dog in if you agree to the dog operation.
Call me la.

Mum (peeping through the small glass window outside the room) told me CC was so brave and behaving well while having her X-ray. Bro-in-law (wearing the X-ray 'suit') was with her, flipping / turning her around so that the vet could do a nice job for her radiography.
Sis was waiting impatiently in the next room due to her pregnancy.

I am so sad la... She never falls ill for the past 8 years.
I am so sad la... She never falls ill for the past 8 years.
The whole family notice a great change in her for the past few weeks... CC had been sleeping alot and she seems very tired and restless during both day and night.
She always had a high threshold towards pain... she must have been suffering for quite some time. I could recalled her mild reaction was only a shudder when i accidently cut her tongue while trimming her whiskles (continue staring at me with her so cute face and small round eyes) and i totally freak out when her so white 'scarf' turns red!
I am lost at words... Removal of womb is consider a big sugery for such a small size dog (24 Kg - well, she is still the smallest and lightest in the whole family) like her...
